Schaner Designs QuickBooks Integration Tool — Effective August 18, 2026

1. Overview

This policy describes how Schaner Designs LLC's internal QuickBooks Online integration tool ("the Tool") handles data. The Tool is used exclusively by Schaner Designs LLC for its own internal expense-tracking and receipt-categorization automation, and is not offered to or used by any other individual or organization.

2. Data Accessed

Via QuickBooks Online's OAuth 2.0 authorization, the Tool reads — and, where explicitly enabled, writes — accounting data belonging to Schaner Designs LLC's own QuickBooks Online company, including vendors, bills, purchases, expenses, and attached receipt files.

3. How Data Is Used

Data is used solely to automate expense tracking and receipt categorization for Schaner Designs LLC's own bookkeeping, including passing relevant data to Schaner Designs LLC's own Make.com automation workflows.

4. Data Sharing

Data is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party outside the systems Schaner Designs LLC directly operates and controls (QuickBooks Online and Make.com).

5. Data Retention

Data is retained only within QuickBooks Online itself and Schaner Designs LLC's own automation systems, for as long as needed for normal business and accounting purposes.

6. Security

OAuth credentials are stored locally on hardware controlled by Schaner Designs LLC and are not transmitted to any third party.
